Veronte MCS rugged laptop is a portable dual display Control Station for UAVs and drones. It is a ready-to-use system designed for high-performance autonomous vehicle operations. Thanks to its built-in battery and robustness for outdoor use, the MCS is positioned as a fully adaptable option for operators’ most demanding needs.
The control station includes a dual screen monitor with high brightness screens and anti-glare treatment that allow the system to work under extreme sunlight conditions. This innovative design permits to obtain the best performance from any vehicle equipped with Veronte systems.

UAV and drone operations are commonly managed from the flight field, which in many occasions leads to operating the vehicles under extreme environmental conditions and under harsh sunlight for a long period of time.
Veronte MCS rugged laptop includes a dual screen monitor with enhanced performance especially designed for outdoor operations. High brightness screens and anti-glare treatment enable the system to operate under extreme sunlight conditions, maintaining a high grade of visibility and the operators comfortability.

The MCS suitcase includes two screens with 15.4″ size each and a 1080p high resolution to provide operators with a high visibility display for operations. The station also includes a keyboard and touchpad, that joint with the multi-touch capacitive screen technology, optimizes the tasks of any UAV operator.
Veronte MCS has a powerful cooling system that allows operations in hot areas (África, Middle East…) and during the summer period. This cooling system is silent and permits to dissipate the generated heat in the system, maintaining the electronics in a safe operating range.

Enclosed in a wheeled rugged cabin size case, the Veronte MCS installs all components in robust protection in compliance with IP67 qualification, ensuring a high grade of waterproofness during transportation.
The Veronte MCS control station’s core is powered by a Windows based embedded PC (Linux version available), therefore custom applications can be installed together with the drone control software. It also provides versatility to configure display so video, telemetry, map positioning… can be placed anywhere on the screen.

The internal battery in Veronte MCS has been dimensioned for long-time operations. The embedded battery can power both the internal PC and the high-brightness dual screen without needing an external power source. This versatility permits the use of this battery for stand-alone operations or as a backup battery unit.
The Veronte MCS also includes 3x USB ports providing extended connectivity to the control station electronics and hardware. Ethernet and WIFI connections are also available so the rugged laptop MCS can be connected to the internet and Ethernet network or to the Veronte PCS system.
