Managed Industrial Ethernet End-Point Tap (EPTAP) Switch with 4x 10/100/1000BASE-TX (RJ-45) + 4x 1000BASE-X combo ports (SFP fiber ports or 10/100/1000BASE-TX (RJ-45) ports), with advanced filtering capabilities
The Cloudberry CM-1600 EPTAP is a filterable Network End-point Tap device that connects to an operational Ethernet switch. The operational Ethernet switch provides data streams from multiple data sources at an egress port. The mirror port actively duplicate packets and provides them to the filterable Network End-point Tap. The filterable Network End-point Tap allows to reduce and split the data stream received from the operational Ethernet switch by using advance filtering techniques.
The Cloudberry CM-1600 EPTAP offers integrated fully managed switch capabilities for 8 (10/100/1000BASE) Gigabit Ethernet ports.
The switch functionality in the CM-1600 EPTAP series offer full management based on HTTP, telnet, CLI or SNMP. Network Redundancy is achieved based on MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1s/w/D) protocol. The unit offers a wide operating temperature range: [-40°F to 158°F] / [-40°C to 70°C].
The End Point Tap function uses egress filtering to control packet flow from all the switch ports. Every port can be individually controlled and a high number of filters can be configured per port. Traffic can be blocked or allowed to pass based on the filter criteria.
Several predefined choices are available from the drop down list. Selecting a pre-defined value will affect the mask and the Filter index.
